Welcome to Willersey Hall

Introduction

Our Village Hall has been at the heart of our National Celebrations since it was first opened in 1921, our villagers have celebrated all of the Queens many anniversaries, a memorable VE Party in 1995 and an unforgettable Millennium Eve Party when over 300 Villagers partied until the early hours.

Our Village Hall has hosted many family Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings and Anniversaries as well as being the home for many organisations, clubs and societies. Our Hall is at the heart of our community where people meet, chat, discuss and debate, where friendships are formed and memories made.

After many years in the planning the much needed refurbishments were completed in October 2020 but due to Covid restrictions our Hall had to remain closed until the Summer of 2021 when it was formally re-opened by long standing resident Mildred Powell.

Since its re-opening the hall has once again been busy with weekly bookings of U3A meetings, Wednesday Club, Probus Club, Yoga, Line Dancing and Fitness Classes and the very popular Table Tennis Club. Despite the halls ever increasing popularity there is still availability to fit in your special occasion, so contact our letting’s secretary to find out more.

So we now look forward to a new chapter in our Halls history and a return to Coffee Mornings, Cake Markets, Bring and Buy Sales, Afternoon Teas and those occasions when people can get together to just chat and discuss the local gossip and weather, things we all missed during Covid.

On behalf of the Village Hall Management Committee we look forward to seeing all of our Organisations, Clubs and Societies enjoying our updated Community Centre.
